2. Open the drain tap.
3. The water drainage line should be OPEN. The installer should clearly identify it in the user manual.
4. When the water ceases to come out, close the drain tap and the hot water tap or safety valve.
Warning: The temperature of the water exiting the taps/drainage line can be very high.

FILLING ACCUMULATOR

1. Open collector inlet tap.
2. The safety valve should be loose so that it acts as a bleed.
3. Open the tap for the highest hot water point in the installation so that the air stored in the conduits is drained.

22.2 Operating instructions

A. Preparation for operation.

IMPORTANT!!

COVER THE SYSTEM WITH AN OPAQUE TARPAULIN TO PREVENT THE SOLAR CIRCUIT FLUID FROM REACHING
HIGH TEMPERATURES THAT WOULD KEEP IT FROM BEING RECIRCULATED BY THE PUMP .
Prior to the step in the above warning, it is recommended to use all the hot water from the tank so it can be replaced
with cold water to cool the solar circuit through the heat exchanger, resulting in an appropriate temperature in the main
circuit for fluid replacement (25 ºC).
B. Draining the solar circuit
1. Disconnect the cold water supply from the system.
2. Remove the cover from the cold water intake. The solar circuit fill valve can be found inside the housing.
3. Remove the cover from the safety valves. The main circuit valve is identified by its orange color.
4. Connect a discharge line to the fill valve on the solar circuit (3/4") to store the existing fluid in the system.
5. Open (not completely) the safety valve on the solar circuit, which can be identified by its orange color. A click will
be heard if opened completely.
6. Open the fill valve.
7. Allow the fluid to drain.
