1 PRIMARY and SECONDARY connectors
These are etherCON CAT5 (RJ-45) connectors for connecting to the
Dante audio network. Star networks and daisy chain networks are
supported.
NOTE
You might need to change the Dante Redundancy settings on the Dante
Controller, depending on the connection method.
For a daisy chain connection, select "Switched."
For a star connection, select either "Redundancy" or "Switched," depending on
whether the connection is redundant.

NOTE
• Use an STP (Shielded Twisted Pair) of CAT5e standard or better to prevent
electromagnetic interference. Make sure that the metal parts of the plugs are
electrically connected to the STP cable shield by conductive tape or
comparable means.
• We recommend cables with RJ-45 plugs that are compatible with Neutrik
etherCON CAT5. However, normal RJ-45 plugs can also be used.
