D-WDR – DIGITAL WIDE DYNAMIC RANGE
The function D-WDR is the digital version of WDR (Wide Dynamic Range). This allows a better balance of
brightness of light and dark areas to obtain a more detailed image. Selecting and pressing the ON button to
access the following submenu:
LEVEL
RETURN
Selecting LEVEL and moving to left or right you can reduce the differences in brightness between light and
dark areas.
DEFOG
This function allows you to increase image contrast in order to improve its visibility in blurry conditions. For
example the fog reduces the visibility. Enable this filter to limit this condition. The contrast balance alters
also the saturation, the profile and the threshold for detecting the subject movement.
If you select AUTO and press the button, you can configure filter position and size, change the shade by
using values 0 to 2 or reset the previous values.
An object with a strong light in the background usually appears dark and not so visible if compared with the
rest of image. The BACKLIGHT function allows to solve this problem and obtain a good compensation in
the selected area (defined by position and dimension) increasing the brightness if the area appears dark or
reducing it if too clear.
Selecting this menu item you can choose among the options OFF (not active), BLC and HSBLC.
BLC is accessed by selecting the following submenu:
