2. General instructions
• The HWT set is suitable for hand-operated wet drilling
(∅ 6-14 mm, 5 mm optional) in hard and brittle sur-
face materials, e.g. tiles, stoneware, granite and mar-
ble.
• HWT drill bits must be continuously cooled with water
during drilling. Drilling without water will cause the drill
bits to fail or their service life to be reduced consider-
ably.
• Use battery-operated power tools only, e.g. Hilti cord-
less screwdriver (see Section 4).
• The HWT set may be used in combination with drill bits
and HWT accessories only.
• The product must not be used with the hammer drill
function.
• Drill only horizontally or vertically down. Overhead
drilling is not permitted.
• Service life and drilling speed may vary greatly on
account of the different properties of surfaces.
