OPERATION

1.
Switch the appliance on:
ƒ 1 = LOW/NIEDRIG:
for liquid ingredients
ƒ 2 = HIGH/HOCH
for solid ingredients
for mixing of solid and liquid ingredients
ƒ P = quick break switch
for crushing of ice, for rapid powerful mixing
2.
The quick break switch does not click it, but has to be held during operation.
As soon as it is released the motor stops. Only use it in short intervals of
5 to 10 seconds.
3.
In general all ingredients are given into the jug at one time.
4.
In case of large quantities, mix in several steps one by one.
5.
Solid ingredients such as cheese or vegetables should be cut into pieces
before adding it.
6.
If not provided otherwise in the recipe, add first the liquid ingredients and
then the solid ingredients. Due to the liquid the food can be processed more
rapidly and on a lower speed.
7.
We recommend to blend in short intervals of 5–30 seconds, and then to
check the consistency of the processed food.
8.
Do not run the mixer for a long time without interruption (max. 3 minutes).
Then the appliance has to cool down for 5–10 minutes.
9.
Only use the blender with the lid in place. Hold the lid firmly pressed down
with your hand during operation.
10. Additional liquids and other ingredients can be added through the opening
in the lid. Please be careful: the content may splash out.
11. Be extremely careful when processing hot ingredients.
12. When processing solid ingredients we recommend to the use the quick break
switch several times. This avoids the knife from getting blocked.
13. Do not take off the jug assembly before the motor has completely stopped.
When adding warm ingredients, please put your hand on the lid of the
appliance in order to prevent the lid from coming off and the mixture from
spilling.
14. After use switch to 0/OFF position and take the plug out of the socket.
