The NuFACE Mini Device is intended for facial stimulation and is indicated for over-the-counter
cosmetic use.
I M P O R TA N T I N F O R M AT I O N
• Use the Mini Device only as described within this User Manual. The risks and dangers of using the
Mini Device in any way that does not follow this User Manual might be unknown.
• Your NuFACE Mini Device has a unique serial number located on the bottom of the device.
Record your serial number and register your device online at www.MyNuFACE.com.
A registration link can be found at the bottom of the webpage.
CO N T R A I N D I C AT I O N S F O R U S E
• Do not use this device if you have a history of epilepsy or seizures.
• Do not use if you have had recent surgery or other surgical procedures.
• Do not use if you have an electronic implanted device such as a defibrillator, neurostimulator,
pacemaker, or ECG Monitor. If you use a body-worn medical device, such as an insulin pump,
consult your healthcare provider.
• Do not use if you have any active cancer or over any suspicious or cancerous lesion.
• Do not use if you are pregnant. The safety of electrical stimulation during pregnancy has not
been established.
• Do not use on infants and children under the age of 18.
*Consult your healthcare provider if any of the contraindications above apply to you.
WA R N I N G S
• If you are under the care of a physician, consult your physician before using this device.
• Discontinue using the device and consult your healthcare provider if you experience an adverse
reaction from using the device.
• Apply stimulation only to normal, intact, clean, healthy skin. Do not use over swollen, infected,
or inflamed areas or skin eruptions, e.g., phlebitis, thrombophlebitis, broken capillaries, varicose
veins, etc.
• Consult your healthcare provider before use if you have any underlying skin conditions.
• The product may not be safe for use on the neck in individuals with a known history of carotid
artery disease, stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA), carotid stenosis, unstable blood pressure,
easy fainting, thyroid disease, or prior surgical procedures in the neck area.
• Do not use in the eye area (circular muscle within the orbital rim), on the temples, the breast or
groin area.
• Do not apply stimulation across your chest as the introduction of electrical current into the chest
may cause rhythmic disturbances to your heart, which could be lethal.
• Do not use while driving, operating machinery or during any activity in which involuntary muscle
contractions may put the user or the public at unnecessary risk of injury.
• Never operate the device if it's not functioning normally, or not operating properly due to damage
caused by dropping or accidental submersion in water.
• Never drop or insert any object into any openings on the device.
• Use of controls or adjustments, or the performance of procedures other than those specified
herein, may result in injury.
• Avoid applying excessive pressure when using the device on the anterior neck.
• If you experience any discomfort or any difficulty breathing or swallowing
occurring from application of the device to the neck, discontinue use.
• If you do experience symptoms of hypotension (dizziness or
lightheadedness) while using the device, discontinue use.
• Keep all electrical appliances (including the Mini Device) away from water
(including baths, showers, and sinks).
• Care should be taken to minimize treatment directly over the midline
of the neck, specifically avoiding the thyroid.
• If the device begins to overheat, turn the device OFF immediately.
• Do not apply stimulation over painful areas. If you have painful areas,
you should consult with your healthcare provider before using this device.
• Use of accessories, transducers and cables other than those specified,
with the exception of transducers and cables sold by the manufacturer of the
Mini Device as replacement parts for internal components, may result in
increased emissions or decreased immunity of the system.
