SETTING AND ACTIVATION OF THE HIGH ALARM VALUE
·
Pull the trigger to power on the instrument.
·
Press the MODE button until the symbol for high alarm „H" flashes in the display and ON and OFF
are shown.
·
Activate (ON) or deactivate (OFF) the high alarm value by pressing the buttons UP or DOWN.
·
Press the MODE button until both symbols for the high alarm value flash in the display and a tempe-
rature is shown.

Set the high alarm value with the buttons UP and DOWN. Now a beep will sound if value set is
exceeded.
·
The value set will also remain if the instrument is powered off
SETTING AND ACTIVATION OF THE LOW ALARM VALUE
·
Pull the trigger to power on the instrument.
·
Press the MODE button until the symbol for low alarm „L " flashes in the display and ON and OFF are
shown.
·
Activate (ON) or deactivate (OFF) the low alarm value by pressing buttons UP or DOWN.
·
Press the MODE button until both symbols for the low alarm value flash in the display and a tempe-
rature is indicated.

Set the low alarm value with the buttons UP and DOWN. Now a beep will sound if a temperature
measured drops below the value set.
·
The value set will also remain if instrument is powered off.
MEMORY
The FIRT 1600 Data can save up to 100 values. To store the values please proceed as follows:
·
Pull the trigger to power on the instrument.
·
Press the MODE button until one of the symbols MAX/MIN/DIF/AVG/LOG flashes in the display.
·
Press the buttons UP and DOWN until LOG flashes in the display.
·
Pull the trigger to confirm.
·
Select a memory position from 1 to 100 with the buttons UP and DOWN (small figure on top of the
temperature indication).
·
Pull the trigger to take a temperature measurement and press the button for the backlight to store
the value on the position selected.
·
Select the next memory position with the buttons UP and DOWN.
·
To read the values stored press the buttons UP and DOWN to select the memory position required.
See the small indication beneath the temperature displayed.
·
If all memory positions are used memory positions can be overwritten.
