INSTALLATION
Caution! This product is not wea-
ther-resistant. Protect this product
from moisture.
Caution! Use wires with a cross
section of at least 0,5 mm
(approx. 20 AWG) (e.g., LGB
50160) to connect this throttle.

Connect the 55055/55056 Wire-
less Receiver to the socket on the
throttle. See the instructions for
the 55055/55056 Wireless Recei-
ver for more information.
OPERATION
The green LED illuminates to
show that the throttle is connec-
ted to a working transformer.
Direction of travel and speed
The 51070 throttle features two
ranges for the throttle knob: "Cen-
ter Off" (traditional LGB style) and
"Left Off" (for more precise thrott-
le control). You can select the
range during operations. Turn the
throttle knob to the new "Off" posi-
tion (center or left) to activate the
new mode:
"Center-Off" mode
- Slide the switch at the top of the
"Left-Off" mode
- Slide the switch at the top of the
the back of the throttle to the
tracks of your layout (Fig. 1).

LGB transformers (AC or DC).
We recommend the 5 Amp
50110/50111 AC Transformer,
which allows you to use the full
potential of the 51070. You can
use a transformer with an output
of less than 5 amps (e.g.,
50080/50081 DC Power Pack, 1
Amp), but the track current is
limited to the output of the trans-
former. You can use a transfor-
mer with an output of more than
5 amps (e.g., 50100/50101
JUMBO Power Pack), but the
maximum output of the throttle
is limited to 5 amps.

throttle knob to the right or left,
the loco will move forward. If you
turn the knob to the other direc-
tion, the loco will move back-
ward.
throttle to the right. Now the ent-
ire range of the throttle knob is
available for precision control of
your locomotives. Turn the thrott-
