MOBILE TEST BENCH
– Finally, put the switch cock S9 into the opened position.
 The infeed of compressed-air presses the moisture within the
compressed air system of the mobile test bench out via the compressed-
air hose on compressed-air coupling C9. This process may take several
minutes.
Electro-pneumatic brake and control devices
To test electro-pneumatic brake and control devices, WABCO recommends
purchasing a power supply unit that can output 12 V or 24 V voltage as
required. The electrical valves can be actuated by this unit.
The mobile test bench 453 197 003 0 has been designed for use in
combination with WABCO test instructions.
The maximum operating pressure is 16 bar.
WABCO test instructions
– Open the WABCO website http://www.wabco-auto.com.
– Here click the link Product Catalogue INFORM.
– Enter the number of the specimen into the Product Number
fi eld.
– Click the Start button.
– Click the Publications radio button.
Each test instruction itself contains information about its application on the
mobile test bench.

– Connect specimen to the numbered test bench ports. When doing so,
note port designations on the specimen.

– Before starting the test, set the switch cock to its normal position as
