Fitting a fl ue pipe with a top outlet
With a top outlet, the fl ue pipe is installed after the outer sides
have been installed. See Chapter 4.6.
Fitting a fl ue pipe with a rear outlet
The product is supplied from the factory with the smoke outlet
fi tted for the top outlet. Proceed as follows for installation with
a rear outlet:
1. Place the product in the correct position. See Fig. 1.

2. Remove the lower exhaust defl ector (A) by tapping/sliding
it forwards and out. Hold it while doing this so that it does
not fall down.
3. Pull the baffl es (B) forwards, lift slightly, turn and lower
them.

4. Be sure to note how the exhaust defl ectors (A) are
positioned before removing them to ensure that they are
fi tted back into exactly the right place. Take hold of the pin
(B) on the underside of the exhaust defl ectors, lift them up
slightly and then sideways before lowering and removing
them from the burn chamber.

5. Unscrew the cover for the rear outlet on the inside of the
burn chamber and take it out through the door opening.
6. Attach the smoke outlet (A) to the inside of the burn
chamber where the cover was. Note that it must be turned
so that the fl ue pipe can be pushed into place from the
outside.
7. Place the gasket (B) from the bag of screws around the
edge of the fl ue pipe and push it into the smoke outlet.
8. Install the smoke outlet cover where the outlet was.
9. Refi t the exhaust defl ector and baffl e.
NB: It is important for the joints/fl ue pipes to be sealed
completely. Air leaks may prevent them from operating
properly.
