Maintenance - repairs
- Take care to avoid accidental
damage.
- Disconnect the machine.
This consists mainly of cleaning the
machine and the plates after each time it
is used.
Replacing the pads
• Loosen the 6 screws on the top of the
plate and slide the pads to the outside.
• To fit and lock the pads repeat these
operations in the reverse order.
Replacing the brushes
• Remove the unit (6 screws) and center
the new brush (centering hub inside).
Changing the belt and adjusting the
tension :
• This change is made in the declutched
position
• Tension the belts without excess: in the
declutched position adjust the two Japy
screws on the control shaft.
• Release the lock nuts, unscrew the two
screws by the same amount, then tighten
the nuts.
Reduction gear: lubricate with Blasia's
220 Long Life synthetic oil
• Check the oil level at intervals
• Drain the oil every 10,000 hours and flush
thoroughly (approx. 0.3 liter)
• Dispose of the old oil as laid down by
the regulations in force.
