1.
Input Gain Knobs – These control individual source levels in the mix. Note to
contractors: After setting final input level, you can remove the knob to avoid tampering.
2.
On/Off Switches - This switch turns the channel on and off without having to turn the
gain down or remove the input connection.
3.
Zone Assign Switch – This three-position slider switch determines the Zone output to
which the channel will be routed. Setting the switch to the middle position will send the
audio to both Zones.
4.
Front Mic Gain Knob – This controls the microphone volume for the Neutrik™
"Combo" connector on the front panel.
5.
Front Mic EQ Knobs – These adjust the Bass, Mid, and Treble frequencies for the Front
Mic audio input.
6.
Neutrik™ "Combo" Connector – This allows the use of either 1/4" or XLR connectors.
It is ideally positioned for connecting an XLR gooseneck directly into the mixer.
7.
Zone Gain Knob – This controls the Zone's overall output level.
8.
Mono/Stereo – This button determines whether the output of the Zone will be in mono
(identical signals sent to the Left/Right outputs) or in stereo.
9.
Balance/Pan – If the Mono button is pressed, the entire Zone output may be panned left and
right using this knob. If the Mono button is disengaged, this knob controls the balance of the
stereo signal derived from the inputs. When fully counterclockwise, only the left channel will
be heard; when fully clockwise, only the right channel will be heard.
10. Stereo Level Indicator- These LEDs quickly and accurately track the level of audio output.
Note: When using these as a master output meter, set all external inputs so as to avoid
distortion at each step in the audio chain. Proper attention to the peak meter results in the
punchiest possible sound without audible distortion.
11. Zone EQ – These knobs adjust the Bass, Mid, and Treble frequencies of the Zone audio.
12. Headphone Gain – This knob adjusts headphone volume.
13. Headphone Output Connector – This is for plugging in your headphones.
