Lumostar® C270 and Lumostar® C270 PZ
THIS LEAFLET COMES IN ADDITION TO THE
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
If you are going to use any of the following
Campingaz® cartridges CV270, CV470,
CV270Plus, CV300Plus, CV470Plus with a
Campingaz® Lumostar® C270 or Lumostar®
C270PZ lamp, then read the following instruction in
order to assist you to correctly assemble the lamp.
FITTING THE MANTLE:
1) Open the cover and
remove the glass.
2) Slide the mantle onto
the burner, with the
larger hole facing
downwards; slot the
mantle into the grooves
of the burner.
3) Burn the mantle
(do this outside):
DO NOT SWITCH ON THE
GAS, hold a naked flame
(cigarette lighter or match)
close to the mantle. Allow
it to burn up completely
(smoke is given off) until it
looks like a black ball.
5) Ensure that the glass is properly seated and
locked in its housing. There should be no
gap between the bottom of the glass and the
supporting metal plate.
THE LAMP IS READY FOR USE
DANGER: CARBON MONOXIDE HAZARD
Do not use this product in caravans, cars,
tents, huts, sheds or any small enclosed
areas. The product should not be used
while sleeping or left unattended. This
product consumes fuel through combustion
or consumption of oxygen and gives off
certain substances and gas, which could be
dangerous such as carbon monoxide (CO).
Carbon monoxide is an odorless, clear gas
that can cause flu-like symptoms, sickness,
illness, and possibly death if produced inside
aforesaid enclosed areas through use of the
product without proper ventilation.
4) Replace the glass and
the cover.
