Safety instructions (EN)
WARNING
Follow carefully this safety and installation instructions. Improper work may
lead to serious harmful for your health and also may damage seriously the
interface and/or the KNX installation.
• The Gateway cannot be installed outdoors or exposed to direct solar
radiation, water, high relative humidity or dust.
• This interface must be installed by accredited technical personnel
(electrician, KNX installer, or authorized technical personnel) and
following all the safety instructions.
Disconnect the KNX bus from power before manipulate it and connect it
•
to the interface.
To prevent EMC disturbances, ensure that there is a safety separation
•
(SELV) of the connected signal cables (including possible extensions)
from the other voltage carrying devices and cables.
Installation instructions
• Disconnect the power supply of the KNX bus.
• Connect the KNX bus to the interface KNX connector. Respect polarity.
• Reconnect power supply to the KNX bus.
• Follow the instructions on the user's manual for configuring and
commissioning the interface. See below how to obtain the user's manual
and the ETS database and plugin.

Placement / Ubicación
Main problems when placing EnOcean devices are: a) Shadow Zones and
b) Penetration Angle. In case you have to, please use repeaters to avoid
coverage problems. / Los principales problemas al ubicar dispositivos
EnOcean son: a) las Zonas de Sombra y b) el Ángulo de Penetración. En
caso de ser necesario, use repetidores para evitar problemas de
cobertura.

Maintenance
The unit is maintenance-free. Do not carry out any repairs when the unit
is damaged (e.g. during transport, storage).
Cleaning
Soiled units can be cleaned with a dry cloth. If this is not sufficient, you
can also use a cloth that is slightly impregnated with a soap solution. Do
not use corrosive agents or solvents.

Instrucciones de seguridad (ES)
ATENCIÓN
Siga atentamente estas instrucciones de seguridad e instalación. Un
manejo inadecuado puede ocasionar daños graves para su salud y puede
ocasionar también daños irreparables en el interfaz y/o en la instalación.
• La pasarela no debe instalarse nunca a la intemperie o donde pueda
incidirle directamente agua, humedad, radiación solar o polvo.
• Este interfaz debe ser instalado por personal técnico acreditado
(electricista, instalador de KNX, o personal técnico cualificado) y
siguiendo todas las instrucciones de seguridad.
• Desconecte la tensión del bus KNX antes de manipularlo y conectarlo al
interfaz.
• Para prevenir perturbaciones de EMC, asegúrese de que haya una
distancia de seguridad (SELV) entre los cables de señal conectados
(incluyendo posibles extensiones) y otros cables y dispositivos que
lleven tensión.
Instrucciones de instalación
• Desconecte la tensión de alimentación del bus KNX.
• Conecte el bus KNX al conector KNX del interfaz. Respete la polaridad.
• Conecte de nuevo la tensión de alimentación al bus KNX.
• Siga las instrucciones del manual de usuario para la configuración y
puesta en servicio del interfaz. Vea al final del documento como
obtener el manual de usuario y la base de datos para ETS y el plugin.

Mantenimiento
El aparato no necesita mantenimiento. En caso de daños (p. ej.: por
transporte, almacenamiento) no se deberán realizar reparaciones.
Limpieza
Los aparatos sucios pueden limpiarse con un paño seco. Si esto no es
suficiente, puede utilizarse un paño levemente humedecido con solución
jabonosa. No se deberán aplicar, en ningún caso, agentes cáusticos o
disolventes.
