If a current of more than 80 mA is required for con-
trol, insert a relay or a switching amplifier. When
connecting an inductive load (e. g. relay), a protective
diode (D1 in fig. 2) must be connected in parallel to it
in reverse direction!

4.2.4 Power supply

For the power supply a regulated power supply unit
with an output voltage between 7 V
required, e. g. PS-362ST of MONACOR. The current
consumption of the module is 150 mA at 12 V.
1) For power supply units with variable output voltage
adjust it between 7 V and 30 V.
2) Connect the power supply unit via a low voltage
plug 5.5/2.1 mm (outside/inside diameter) to the
low voltage jack (6). Pay attention to the correct
polarity in any case: the positive pole must be at
the centre contact!
3) Only after all connections have been established,
connect the power supply unit to a mains socket
(230 V~/50 Hz). After applying the operating volt-
age, the module is switched on and the green LED
(11) lights up.
After the operation disconnect the power supply
unit from the mains socket.
4.3 Making the settings

4.3.1 Channel selection

The wireless transmission is made in the 2.4 GHz
range divided by the manufacturer into five channels at
a distance of 14 MHz. As a maximum three channels
can be used at the same time because two channels
directly next to each other interfere with each other.
The following channel selection is recommended:
in case of two transmitters or cameras:
channels 1 and 5
in case of three transmitters or cameras:
channels 1, 3, and 5
Set the module with the rotary switch (10) to the chan-
nel of the transmitter:

4.3.2 Automatic switching mode
If e. g. several surveillance cameras are used, the
camera pictures can successively be shown on a
monitor (automatic switching mode). In case of two
cameras turn the channel switch (10) to the position
6, 7, 8, or 9 and in case of three cameras to position
A. Adjust the dwell time for a camera picture between
one and five seconds with the control (9).

4.3.3 Video signal polarity
The picture transmission can be made in an encoded
way if the transmitter can be set to negative video sig-
nal polarity. Then the camera picture cannot be repro-
duced by a receiver without polarity switching. In case
of negative video signal polarity set the small selector
switch (3) to the upper position. With standard (posi-
tive) polarity set the switch to the lower position.

4.3.4 Matching the video level
The video output level at the yellow phono jack (4) is
adjusted to 1 Vpp according to standard. However, if
the picture on the screen appears too bright or too
dark, match the level with the control (8) accordingly.
