Functional description SV.. EC ...
The SlimVent SV.. EC..are variable speed controllable by means of a 0-10 V control voltage. Suitab-
le potentiometers (Type PU/A 10), three-step switches (Type SU/A) are available in the Helios accessory
range. Variable speed control is possible with a universal control system (Type EUR EC). Alternatively,
the electronic differential pressure/temperature controller EDR / ETR can be used.
m
Activation / deactivation:
EC fans can be frequently activated and deactivated via the 0-10 V control input or the release input
depending on the type. This is gentle on the electronics and ensures a long service life. Control via the
power supply (on/off) is not recommended. In general, there must be an interval of at least 120 seconds
between activation and deactivation.
m
In case of strong vibrations and/or odours, maintenance must be carried out by a specialist according to
chapter 1.4.

Cleaning

m
An insulation/installation fault may result in electric shock! Before cleaning, isolate the fan from the mains
power supply and protect against being switching on again!
Waiting period of at least 5 minutes!
m
When using capacitors, there is a danger to life after deactivation due to the direct touching of live parts.
Terminal compartment access is only permitted after the power supply is disconnected and a 5 minute waiting
period.
m
The unexpected rotating impeller can crush fingers.
Before cleaning, isolate the fan from the mains power supply and protect against being switching on again!
– Clean casing and impeller with a damp cloth
– The motor must not come into contact with water!
– Do not use aggressive cleaning agents that could damage the paintwork!
– High pressure cleaners or water jets are not permitted!
