12. Laser marker
WARNING !
CLASS III A LASER UNIT
635 nm, < 5 mW
Cutting can be speeded up using the laser marker.
The laser system used is able to indicate the tool's
cutting line on the working surface.
WARNING !
THE LASER MARKER STARTS WORKING AS
SOON AS THE MACHINE IS CONNECTED TO
THE POWER SUPPLY.
CUTTING USING THE LASER MARKER
-
connect the machine to the power supply;
-
position the workpiece so that the line marked
out by the laser is aligned with that marked on
the workpiece;
-
proceed to cut as indicated in the "MAKING A
SQUARE CUT" paragraph.

WARNING !
DO NOT CHANGE THE POSITION OF THE
MARKER TO AVOID THE LASER BEAM SHINING
IN THE OPERATOR'S EYES.
DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE BEAM
WITHOUT SUITABLE EYE PROTECTION, OR
WHEN USING OPTICAL INSTRUMENTS.
SETTING THE MARKER
When the marker is not aligned with the cutting axis,
it can be realigned.
To position the marker correctly, proceed as follows:
-
slacken the three bulb locking screws in order to
allow it to move (photo 22);

position a properly aligned reference on the
tool's cutting line (photo 21);
-
insert the 5 mm Allen wrench provided into the
hole in the bulb (photo 22);
-
turn the bulb using the Allen wrench until the
mark is aligned with the tool's cutting line
(photo 21).
WARNING !
WHEN SETTING, MAKE SURE THAT THE LINE
PRODUCED BY THE MARKER DOES NOT
SHINE IN THE OPERATOR'S EYES.
