Problem
Image colours appear unreal, eg. green plants
A whistling sound can be heard
No sound
Dark monitor image during twilight / darkness
The image is also too dark during daylight
The monitor image displays a bright back-
ground, however the visitor is displayed dark
The picture freezes and the unit does not
respond
14. Wireless range
The wireless range is dependent on many factors. In an ideal location and by
free line of sight between both antennas) a range of up to 150 m is possible,
within buildings this is reduced to maybe 20 m.
The range cannot be guaranteed as it is dependent on the local conditions.
A reduction of the range will be caused by:
# Walls and Floors, in particular those of metal or with metal
reinforcement
# Coated windows (eg. those with Insulating glass), radiators, mirrors and
other metal surfaces
# Electrical cables and electrical products (eg. those containing electrical
motors, microwave ovens)
# Devices using the same or similar frequency (eg. WLAN-systems)
15. Battery changing
When the batteries in the outdoor station require changing the power LED [54]
on the outdoor station will light and the symbol [c] on the monitor will flash.
In this case:
! release the security screws [8] with the screwdriver [9]
! pull the lower edge of the outdoor station [1] from the cover [18]
! remove the expired batteries and place 6 new alkaline AA 1.5 V batteries in
the battery compartment observing the correct polarity
! replace the outdoor on the cover, first clip in the upper edge, and then the
lower edge. Fix the outdoor station with the screws [8] using screwdriver

16. Maintenance and cleaning

# The products are maintenance-free: do not open the housings
# Check the safety and function regularly
# Remove the mains adapters from the mains sockets before cleaning
# Use a soft, slightly moist cloth or brush to clean the surfaces
Do not clean using carbon rich cleaners, Petrol, alcohol or similar. These can be
damage the surfaces. Also the fumes cause a danger to health and of explosion.
Do not use any sharp tools (eg screwdrivers) or metal brushes for cleaning.
Cause
The camera sensor is also set for infrared light (for night
vision). This setting creates a shifting of the colour spectrum
It is produced by acoustic feedbackg
The volume setting is too low
The outdoor station requires additional lighting to be able to
display a good image
Your viewing angle of the monitor is unfavourable
There is too much backlighting in the background
Software has crashed
Remedy
Adjustment not possible
Place the stations further apart
Reduce the volume on the indoor station
Adjust the volume setting on the indoor station
Install additional lighting
Change the mounting height of the indoor station or adjust the monitor brightness
Install additional lighting or change the location of the outdoor station
Press the Reset button [4] using a paperclip

18. Disposal
Do not dispose of packaging material, used batteries or products as
household waste. Please use your recycling system. Details are available
