Unpacking the Device

Remove the main device and accessories from the box.
Also remove any packaging materials that may be present.
Check the scope of delivery.

Initial Operation

Filling up the Heating Boiler before Use!
Before the tank cap is opened it must be ensured that the device
is not under any pressure. Please proceed as follows:
1. Remove the plug from the socket.
2. Turn the lock (22) on the steam pistol (20) to ON (Fig. B1).
3. Press the steam switch (21) on the steam pistol (Fig. B2).
Point the steam nozzle at a surface which is allowed to
become wet.
NOTE:
After prolonged periods of non-use it is normal for a small
quantity of condensation to come out of the steam pistol
at fi rst.
WARNING:
If the device is still warm after an interruption to
its use there is a danger of injury!
Please open the safety lock (6) only when no more
steam comes out of the nozzle.
4. Turn the lock in an anticlockwise direction.
NOTE:
For your protection the safety lock has a release device.
If the pressure in the kettle is still too high, this release
device prevents it from being opened.
5. Shake any residual water out of the kettle (7). Fill freshwater
from the measuring beaker (15) into the kettle. Take care of
water splashes that might come out of the boiler. In order to
avoid water spray, please use the funnel supplied (Fig. E).
The water should be fi lled in slowly.
CAUTION:
Do not overfi ll! Max. water capacity: 1.5 litres
Do not use condensation from a tumble dryer (chemi-
cal residues)! This is not distilled water!
6. Retighten the safety lock (6) in a clockwise direction.
Attachment of the Individual Accessories
It is possible to attach the individual nozzles directly to the steam
pistol (20) of the hose (1):
Attach the jet nozzle (14) to the steam pistol until it locks in
place.
In order to release the nozzle again, please press the button
on the steam pistol.
Keep the button pressed down and then pull the nozzle off.

Or extend the nozzle attachments with one or two extension
tubes (8):
Please insert the sections of the 2-part extension tube one
inside the other until it locks into place (Fig. G). Then attach
it to the steam pistol (20).
Attach the fl oor brush (18) to the extension tubes: press the
jointed adapter (17) on to the fl oor brush and turn it tightly
through 180°.
If you would like to use the non-woven cloth, attach it to the
fl oor brush with the help of the clips (Fig. H).
In order to release the extension tube, please press the but-
ton on the steam pistol.
NOTE:
Various attachments can only be used in conjunction with the
adapter (13). Place this on the jet nozzle (14) and fi x it in place
by turning through 90°. Please note the bolts in the adapter
and the guiding groove in the jet nozzle. Check that everything
is properly connected!

WARNING: THERE IS A DANGER OF INJURY!
Never attach or remove the accessories if the steam switch
(21) is pressed in! Wait until the device has cooled down.
Electrical Connection
1. Before inserting the plug into the socket. Make sure that the
mains voltage to be used matches that of the device. You
can fi nd this information on the nameplate.
2. Connect the device to a duly installed 230V/50Hz protective
contact socket.

The station has a total maximum wattage of 1500 W.
for large fl oor surfaces
