Maintenance
Applicable to all maintenance work:
! Disconnect unit from the mains circuit.
! Shut off cold water inlet at the
adjustment screw of the fittings.
Open dual-handle fitting cold and hot
water or open lever in central position
for single-lever mixer.
! Disconnect cold and hot water connec-
tion from unit, remove unit and place it
on the table.
To open the housing lid (Fig.12):
!
Pull off thermostat knob, remove screws.

On the opposite side, lower the locking
screws towards the inside by rotating
them counterclockwise or clockwise.

Swing open the casing and remove it.
Untiten the plastic band pos. 3.1, of the
SN 10 S and SN 15 S.
The unit is now accessible for all additional
maintenance work.
SN 10 S, SN 15 S:
In case the appliance is opened for service,
the tightening strap prevents the inner
container from falling out of the heater.
Exchange connection line:
If the electric connection has to be removed,
the plastic thread which holds the form plate
must not be removed!

Thermostat and temperature fuse
adjustment of the SN 10 S and
SN 15 S:

When temperature fuse has reacted, ex-
change thermostat and temperature fuse.
Decalcification
Remove heating flange, remove coarse
calcium with a piece of wood, immerse
heating element up to the flange plate into
decalcitant.
Survey of the protective conductor
(acc. BGV A2):
Pull off the electric plug and the knob of the
thermostat.
The survey has to be done on the fastening
screw of the thermostat and on the
protective conductor line of the power
supply cabele.
Faults to be cleared by an
approved professional
If the safety cut out operates by
using the water heater normally, the
reason for the fault must rectified and the
thermostat must be replaced.

Entretien
Pour toute intervention:
! Mettre l'appareil hors tension.
! Fermer l'arrivée d'eau froide en agissant
sur la vis d'arrêt placée sur la
robinetterie. Ouvrir les robinets d'eau
chaude et froide ou bien amener le
levier en position médiane dans le cas de
mitigeurs mono - commande.
! Desserrer les raccords d'eau chaude et
froide de l'appareil, déposer l'appareil et le
poser sur la table.
Démontage du capot de l'appareil (fig. 12).
!
Démonter le bouton de thermostat,
retirer les vis.

Sur le coté opposé, enfoncer les vis de
verrouillage vers l'intérieur en tournant
vers la droite ou la gauche.

Retirer le capot en le faisant pivoter.
Retirer le cerclage de maintien Pos. 3.1
pour les modèles SN 10 S et SN 15 S.
L'appareil est maintenant accessible pour une
intervention.
SN 10 S, SN 15 S:
Si en cas de dépannage, le capot doit être
ouvert, la sangle (fig. 12, rep. 3.1) empêche
le basculement de la cuve.
Changer le câble de raccordement:
En cas de remplacement du cordon
d'alimentation, ne pas rompre le fil plastique
retenant le support PVC du thermostat.

Ajustage des thermostats de réglage
et de sécurité de le SN 10 S et
SN 15 S:

En cas de déclenchement du thermostat
de sécurité:
Remplacer le thermostat de réglage et le
thermostat de sécurité.
Détartrage
Démonter le corps de chauffe, enlever le
calcaire en surface à l'aide d'une spatule en
bois. Tremper la résistance jusqu'à la bride
dans un produit détartrant.
Tester la mise à la terre de l'appareil
selon les normes et prescriptions en
vigueur:
Couper l'alimentation électrique et enlever le
bouton de réglage. Ce test est à réaliser sur
la vis de fixation sous le bouton de réglage et
aux bornes de terre.
Dépannage réalisé par un
installateur
Si lors d'un usage de l'appareil selon
les normes le ou les défaut(s)
doivent être éliminé(s) et le thermostat
remplacé.

Bij werkzaamheden altijd:
! Eerst de boiler loskoppelen van het
stroomnet.
! Koudwateraanvoer d. m. v de
stelschroef van de kraan afsluiten.
Tweegreeps mengkraan (warm en koud
water) openen of bij de een-
hendelmengkraan de hendel in de
middelste stand zetten.
! Koud- en warmwateraansluiting van de
boiler loskoppelen. Boiler verwijderen
en op tafel leggen.
Demontage van de bovenkap (afb. 12):
!
Regelknop verwijderen, schroeven
losdraaien.

De schroeven in de bodemplaat laten
verzinken door naar links of rechts te
draaien.

Beschermkap wegdraaien, wegnemen.
Spanban positie 3.1, bij SN 10 S en
SN 15 S losmaken.
Nu is de boiler toegankelijk voor verdere
werkzaamheden.
SN 10 S, SN 15 S:
Bij geopende boiler, zorgt de span-
bandervoor (afb. 12, nr. 3.1), dat de
binnetank op zijn plaats blijft.
Changer le câble de raccordement:
En cas de remplacement du cordon
d'alimentation, ne pas rompre le fil plastique
retenant le support PVC du thermostat.

Bij het aanslaan van de begrenzer:
Regelaar en begrenzer vervangen.
Ontkalken
Verwarmingsflens demonteren, grove kalk
met een houten voorwerp verwijderen,
verwarmingselement tot aan de flensplaat in
een ontkalkingsmiddel dompelen.
Testen van de aardleiding volgens
BGV A2:
Netssteker uit wcd halen en thermostaat-
knop verwijderen.
De test dient via de thermostaat-
bevestigingsschroef en de aardcontacten van
de steker.
Oplossen van de storing door
de installateur
Indien de begrenzer aanspreekt
onder normale gebruiksomstandig-
heden, dient de oorzaak gevonden te
worden en de thermostaat te worden
vervangen.
