TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Symptom
Display lights not working.
Switch is on, but no heat or
lights.
Switch is on, but unit has no
heat.
Switch is on, but unit does not
maintain setpoint temperature.

OPTIONS AND ACCESSORIES

Front Sign Holders
Front sign holders are available as factory installed options.
Tiered Shelves
Tiered shelves are available for all models as factory installed
options. Standard shelves have a 17" (432 mm) shelf depth. Tiered
shelves have the following depths: top shelf is 12" (305 mm),
middle shelf is 15" (381 mm), and bottom shelf is 18" (457 mm).
4" (102 mm) Adjustable Legs
The 4" (102 mm) adjustable legs are available for all models as
accessories and are used to add additional height to the unit.
Probable Cause
Power turned off.
LED display lights or driver defective.
Unit not plugged in.
Circuit breaker tripped.
Defective component.
Setpoint temperature is too low.
Defective component.
Food not positioned properly inside cabinet
and is blocking air curtain.
Unit not allowed to reach setpoint temperature. Allow unit 60 minutes to reach setpoint temperature.
Crumb tray out of position.
Imbalanced/improper air flow in building.
Rear door is open.
Defective component.
ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD: Turn OFF power switch, allow
unit to cool, and unplug power cord before performing any
cleaning, adjustments, or maintenance.
Move Power I/O (on/off) switch to the I (on) position.
Contact Authorized Service Agent or Hatco for assistance.
Plug unit into the proper power supply.
Reset the circuit breaker.
Contact Authorized Service Agent or Hatco for assistance.
Adjust setpoint temperature to the proper setting.
Adjust the setpoint temperature to a lower setting. Refer to
the procedure in the OPERATION section.
Place food completely onto shelf. Food must not be in front
crumb tray or on floor of unit.
Adjust crumb tray so that it's front edge is flat on floor of unit.
Identify air flow sources and make necessary changes:
• Move any portable fans.
• Close all windows and doors.
• Close drive-thru window.
• Check ceiling vents and redirect, if necessary.
Close door.
Contact Authorized Service Agent or Hatco for assistance.
Product Stops
Product stops contain the food product within each shelf and
are available as factory installed options.
Flip-Up Doors
Flip-up doors are available as a factory installed option for
FS3HAC-3626 models only.
Right-Hinged Doors
Right-hinged doors are available as a factory installed option
for FS3HAC-2426 and FS3HAC-3026 models only.
Side Control
A side-mounted digital temperature controller is available as a
factory installed option.
