USE
1. Before using your trimmer for
the first time, place the unit in
the charging stand and charge
it for 16 hours. Always place the
trimmer in the base with the
ON/OFF switch in the OFF posi-
tion.
2. Always check to see if the charg-
ing light is on when you place
the trimmer in the charging
stand. The switch must face
forward for the trimmer to slide
properly into the base.
3. To ensure that the maximum
charge is always available, leave
your trimmer in the charging
stand at all times.
4. Battery life can be improved by
periodically allowing the trim-
mer to run until the motor stops.
Immediately shut the switch off
and fully recharge.
MAINTENANCE
To maintain correct performance,
the blades must be regularly
cleaned and oiled. They are re-
movable for easy cleaning. Hold
the clipper with blade frame
pointing upwards and push up to
take the blade frame out. Brush
away the hair from the blades
and the interior of the cutting
head with the cleaning brush. It
is recommended to oil the blades
every time that the clipper is used,
using the oil provided. Never use
any other product: this oil was for-
mulated for high speed clippers, it
does not evaporate or slow down
the blades.
After cleaning put the blade frame
back in place.
USE OF THE COMB GUIDES
This clipper is supplied with 4
comb guides.

To attach a comb, hold it by the
sides and make it slide on the
teeth of the clipper. To remove the
comb, make it slide out.
1. Charging the Clipper/trimmer
Before using the Clipper/trimmer
for the first time, charge continu-
ously for 16 hours. Maximum bat-
tery capacity will only be reached
after several charging/discharging
cycles.
2. Preserving the batteries
In order to maintain the optimum
capacity of the rechargeable bat-
teries, the clipper/ trimmer has to
be fully discharged (by Clipper/
trimmer) every 6 months approxi-
mately. Then recharge the Clip-
per/trimmer to full capacity.
