PIR motion detector
Description

2. LED indicator
The LED indicator flashes once: the detector is triggered and sends a signal to the control
panel.
The LED indicator is on 'Low battery': replace the battery
3. ON/OFF button
Power save mode: remove the batteries, remove the screw on top and press the latch on top
to remove the back cover: location of dipswitch is in the centre of the electronic board.
To change Power Save mode: set the dipswitch according to picture 2.
Installation
- Insert the batteries or connect to a 5 VDC power supply with Micro USB connector (not
included).
- Select ON to power the device.
- Choose a suitable location. Install the detector at least 2 metres from the floor.
- Mount the bracket to the wall by using screws.
- Install the detector in the upright position.
- If necessary, adjust the angle of the detector but maintain in the upright position. Direct the
detector under a correct angle towards entrances, but avoid facing doors or windows, heat
sources or moving objects.
Pairing the motion detector to the main unit
1. On the main unit, long press the numbered button (1 - 4) matching the zone you want to
add the detector to. The corresponding LED lights up.
2. Power and/or trigger the detector you want to add.
a. Two flashes and two tones indicate successful pairing.
b. Single flash and tone indicate known accessory.
c. Three flashes and tones indicate no more detectors can be added.
3. If a detector is triggered, the corresponding zone indicator LED flashes.
