 Connect the mains power adapter to the control unit and the control unit to the RGB LED
strip (see section entitled "Installing product").
 Plug the mains power adapter into the power socket at which the product is to be used.
The control unit LED flashes (twice per second).
 If the LED of the control unit does not flash, press and hold down the On/Standby button
for approx. 8–10 seconds until the LED flashes.
You can also use the "Help function" on the app.
 Tap on CONFIRM.
You can select between two possible installation methods.
Smart mode
In smart mode (SmartConfig mode), the smartphone sends the network information to all
products that are currently running in pairing mode.
Smart mode is the default setting in the app.
 In the app, tap on CONFIRM. The WLAN currently connected to your smartphone is dis-
played.
 If you would like to connect the product to this WLAN, enter the correct password for this
WLAN network and click on CONFIRM. If you want to connect to a different WLAN, se-
lect CHANGE NETWORK and then select the WLAN you want to use.
