■ Make sure before each start-up that the device is clean, dry, undamaged and cor-
rectly assembled.
■ Do not use any other accessories. Only the accessory parts supplied by the manu-
facturer should be used.
■ Do not introduce any objects into the ventilation slots of the device and make sure
that no objects block the ventilation slots.
■ Do not use the device without food in it and do not overfi ll the mixing container! This
might result in the device overheating or damage to the motor.
■ Only ever use just one function of the device! Only insert either the blender at-
tachment or the mincing attachment into the motor unit. Otherwise there may be
overheating or damage to the motor.
■ Do not attempt to force food down the feed chute of the mincer; this may damage
the device!
■ The device is not suitable for constant use. Do not operate the device for more than
5 - 10 minutes without interruption. Then let it cool down for a few minutes before you
use it again.
■ Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device. These can
damage the surface.
Notes on Hygiene
■ There may still be some production residues on the device. To avoid harmful effects
to your health, clean all parts of the device before you use it for the fi rst time. Also
clean the used parts after each use to prevent germ formation (see the "Cleaning and
Storage" chapter).
■ Keep the device clean.
