Safety Instructions

The device is not designed to be operated with an external timer

or a separate remote control system.
This device may be used by people with reduced physical, sen-
■
sory or mental abilities or a lack of experience and/or knowl-
edge if they are supervised or have received instruction on how
to use the device safely and have understood the dangers re-
sulting from this.
The device may not be used by children. Children and animals
■
must be kept away from the device and the connecting cable.
Store the device out of the reach of children and animals!
The device is not a toy!
■
The device must always be disconnected from the mains power
■
when it is left unattended and before assembling, disassem-
bling and cleaning the device.
Never immerse the device, mains cable or plug in water or other
■
liquids and ensure that they cannot fall into water or become
wet.
Always check the device for damage before putting it into op-
■
eration. If the device, the connecting cable or the plug of the
device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer
or customer service department or a similarly qualifi ed person
(e.g. specialist workshop) in order to avoid any hazards.

Dangers of Injury

■ Keep the device and packaging material away from children and animals. There is a
risk of injury and suffocation!
■ Danger of injury due to rotating device parts! Keep clothing, jewellery, hair, hands
and other body parts away from the device so that nothing can get caught in rotating
device parts.
■ Danger of injury due to sharp blades! Be careful when handling the blade insert and
the cutter head in order to prevent any cut injuries. Switch off the device before insert-
ing or removing the blade insert/cutter head.
■ Only ever use the plunger which is also supplied to push food into the feed chute
of the mincing attachment. Never reach into the feed chute while the device is in
operation.
■ Caution – danger of scalding! Do not process any hot food in the device as it could
spurt out during use. The food must not be hotter than 50°C. Allow hot food to cool
down before you process it with the device.
