• Connect the air pump cable to the socket on the
housing at the back of the solar panel.
• Attach the support to the back of the solar panel
and place it in an appropriate place.
UNI_PUMP_03:
• Install batteries in the back part of the solar panel.
• Select an appropriate location for the device.
• Attach the aeration stone to the hose.
• Connect the hose to the air pump (at the air pump
outlet).
• Connect the air pump cable to the socket on the
housing at the back of the solar panel.
• Attach the support to the back of the solar panel
and place it in an appropriate place.
Usage
After installation, leave the solar module for at least
eight hours in direct sunlight to fully charge the battery
(install the battery but do not connect the air pump).
Day mode
After installing the battery, the green LED indicates that
„day" mode will be activated. The pump will only work
if there is good sunshine. On sunny days, the excess
power will charge the battery in order to use the device
in "night" mode. The pump will not run on cloudy days
or at night because there is not enough power.
Night mode
The solar panel charges the battery during the day and
the air pump only works at night. (If the night mode
is turned on in daytime, the air pump will not work
until sunset). In the evening, press the change mode
button, the red indicator of night mode will light up.
The air pump works at night until the next day (if it was
exposed to direct sunlight), sunrise or until the batteries
are discharged. On sunny days the battery will be fully
charged. On cloudy days, the pump will run for much
less time.
Discharged battery
If the battery is discharged, the red light will flash to
indicate the battery is low. Leave the solar module in
direct sunlight for at least eight hours to fully charge the
battery (without the air pump connected).

3.3. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

a) Use only non-corrosive cleaners to clean the
surface.
b) After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried
completely before using it again.
c) Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from
moisture and direct exposure to sunlight. The
device must be stored disassembled, i.e., with the
pump disconnected from the solar panel.
d) Never spray the device with water.
e) Do not allow water to get inside the device
through vents in the housing of the device.
f) The device must be regularly inspected to check
its technical efficiency and spot any damage.
g) Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
h) Do not leave the battery in the device if it will not
be used for a longer period of time.

SAFE REMOVAL OF BATTERIES AND RECHARGEABLE
BATTERIES
The device (UNI_PUMP_03) is fitted with nickel-metal
hydride batteries. Remove used batteries from the
device using the same procedure by which you
installed them. Recycle batteries with the appropriate
organisation or company.
DISPOSING OF USED DEVICES
Do not dispose of this device in municipal waste systems.
Hand it over to an electric and electrical device recycling
and collection point. Check the symbol on the product,
instruction manual and packaging. The plastics used to
construct the device can be recycled in accordance with
their markings. By choosing to recycle you are making
a significant contribution to the protection of our
environment. Contact local authorities for information
on your local recycling facility.
