PLEASE NOTE!
■ Do not leave the device unattended during operation.
■ Do not overfill the mixing bowl (max. 1.5 l). This might result in the device overheating
or damage to the motor.
■ Never switch on the device if the tilting mixer head has not been flipped down!
■ Do not flip up the tilting mixer head while the device is in operation.
■ Do not place any objects or hands in the mixing bowl when the device is in operation.
■ Never fill the device with hot food or liquids! The contents must not be hotter than
50°C. Allow hot food to cool down before processing it any further with the device.
■ Use the device for no more than 3 minutes without interruption to prevent overheat-
ing. Allow the device to cool down before using it again.
The device is equipped with overload protection; the device switches off if it is
overloaded. In this case, pull the mains plug out of the plug socket and allow the
device to cool down for approx. 10 minutes. The device is then ready to be used
again.
1. Place the ingredients in the mixing bowl (9) in accordance with your recipe.
2. Insert the splash guard (7), the mixing bowl and the insert you want (see the "Insert-
ing / Removing Accessories" chapter).
3. Flip down the mixer head (11) (see the "Inserting / Removing Accessories" chapter).
4. Make sure that the switch for adjusting the speed settings (2) is in the 0 position
before the device is connected to the mains power in order not to switch the device
on accidentally.
5. The mains plug should be connected to a plug socket that has been properly in-
stalled. The device is in standby mode.
6. Set a suitable speed setting using the switch for adjusting the speed settings:
0
1 – 3
4 – 6
Further ingredients can be added through the feed opening in the splash guard
while you are using the device.
7. To switch off the device, move the switch for the speed settings to the 0 position.
Danger of injury due to rotating device parts! Wait until the insert has
come to a complete standstill before putting up the mixer head.
8. Remove the mains plug from the plug socket.
9. Remove the used insert and the mixing bowl (see "Inserting / Removing Accesso-
ries").
