Inserting / Removing Accessories

PLEASE NOTE!
■ The device must be switched off when the tilting mixer head is being flipped up or
down.
■ Switch off the device and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket before changing
any attachments.
Before inserting or removing any accessories, the mixer head (11) must be put up: Hold
the mixer head firmly with one hand and at the same time use your other hand to press
the release button (1). The mixer head is released and flips up automatically. You should
also guide it with your hand to prevent it flipping up abruptly.
To flip the mixer head down again, press the release button and press down the mixer
head until it engages.

Mixing Bowl

Inserting: Insert the mixing bowl (9) into the base (8) on the basic device (4). Twist it
as far as it will go in the direction of the arrow (LOCK), and if necessary hold the basic
device firmly as you do this.
Removing: Twist the mixing bowl counter to the direction of the arrow (LOCK) until it is
released and pull it up out of the base.

Splash Guard

Inserts
Inserting: Place the insert onto the mount (10) in the mixer head so that the locking lug
on the mount fits into the recess on the insert. Push up the insert and twist it anticlock-
wise. When you let go, the locking lug is fixed in place.
Removing: Push up the insert and twist it clockwise as far as it will go. Remove the
insert.

Inserting: Place the splash guard (7) onto the bottom of the
mixer head. Make sure that it is pushed all the way up.
Removing: Pull the splash guard off the bottom of the mixer
head.
