OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Note: It is normal for the engine to emit smoke during and after the first use.
WARNING! Check for fuel leaks. If any are found, correct them before using the blower and
vacuum to prevent fire or burn injury.
WARNING! Start the engine at least 10 feet from the fueling area to minimize the risk of fire and
burn injuries.
To reduce the risk of blower contact injuries, always start the blower on the ground, on a firm and
level surface.
Do not drop start the blower. This method is very dangerous because you may loose control of the
blower.

STARTING A COLD ENGINE

1.
Set the ignition switch to the "START" position.
2.
Move the choke lever upwards to the start position
3.
Press the primer button 8 times, until the petrol/oil mixture flows in and out of the
discharge hose located above the fuel tank FIG. 9.
4.
Give the starter handle a strong pull, until the first firing sound from the engine
(normally not more than 4/5 times).
5.
Fully press down the choke to the stop position
ADVANCE" remains engaged.
6.
Continue to pull the starter handle until the engine starts.
7.
Allow the engine to run idle for around 10 seconds to let it warm up.

STARTING A WARM ENGINE

1.
Set the ignition switch to the "START" position.
2.
Push the choke lever down to the run position
3.
Give the starter handle a strong pull, until the first coughs from the engine (normally
not more than 4/5 times).
4.
Continue to pull the starter handle until the engine starts.
5.
Allow the engine to run idle for around 10 seconds to let it warm up.
STOP THE ENGINE
1.
Release the throttle trigger and allow the engine to idle for a few moments.
2.
Move the ignition switch to the off position marked STOP.
The engine will now stop.

OPERATING THE BLOWER

WARNING! Check your equipment before operation, especially the muffler, air intakes and air
filters.
