OPERATION
Power on / off
• Avoid contact with the scanner during measuring process.
• Press on/off button (3) to switch instrument on. Press button (3)
again to switch unit off. The instrument has an automatic power
off function and after a period without use the instrument will
automatically switch off.
Check of instrument
• Avoid contact with the scanner during measuring process. Press
button MEAS and hold the instrument in the air. The value
indicated must be between -005 and 005.
Functions
• Press MEAS button (6) and the instrument will start measuring.
Carefully scan the surface to be measured. Hold the scanner in a
90° angle to get an optimum measuring result. Release MEAS
button; HOLD will be displayed. The measured value will be held.
Note:
If there is any metal in the material to be measured the instru-
ment will show a value that is too high.
