2. Footplate adJUstMent (FigURe 3 & 4 )
Blade breakage may occur if the blade does not extend past the
footplate and the workpiece during the cut. Increased risk of personal
injury, as well as damage to the footplate and workpiece may result.

Never use tool without footplate or with loose footplate.
• Disconnect plug from power source and point saw away from the
body.
• Use an Allen wrench to loosen the screws and slide the footplate
outside of inside to desired cutting depth
• Retighten the screws securely.
• The footplate tilts in order to keep as much of its surface in contact
with the work surface.

waRning! Always use the correct voltage:The voltage of the power
source must match with the values on the nameplate of the tool.

1. vaRiaBle speed switcH

• To turn tool on, squeeze the switch trigger (1).
• The speed control dial is located on the trigger, the speed increases
as the dial is turned from a low speed setting of 1 to a high speed
setting of 7.
• For continuous cutting, squeeze the switch trigger (1) and depress the
lock-on button (2). Once lock-on button is depressed, release the switch
trigger.
• To switch the tool off, release the switch trigger. When in continuous
cutting, squeeze the trigger again to disengage the lock.
Your saw should be running at full speed before starting the cut, and be
turned off only after completing the cut. To increase switch life, do not
turn switch on and off while cutting.

• Securely clamp the workpiece
• Mark the line of cut and grasp the tool with one hand on the main
handle and the other placed on the insulated soft cover over the front
