USER MANUAL
Thank you for purchasing the Feuerhand
Pyron Plate. The brand Feuerhand looks back
upon a tradition of more than one hundred
years.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

Please read this user manual carefully be-
fore using the product for the fi rst time.
Follow the safety instructions and keep
this user manual for future reference. If the
product is used by other people, they must
also be given this user manual.
Where to use the Pyron Plate: The Pyron Plate
is designed and built for outdoor use only
on top of the Feuerhand Pyron. It can be
used only if the following safety instructions,
warnings and instructions for use are fol-
lowed. Please note that, due to the material,
the Pyron Plate may develop rust.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS


Only use the Pyron Plate in combination with
the Feuerhand Pyron outdoors. It must never
be used indoors. Fire hazard and danger of
suffocation!
• Refer to and comply with fi re safety regula-
tions. Show consideration to the plant and
animal life and to nature reserves when
using the product outdoors.
• Caution! The Pyron fi re barrel, Plate and
all of its parts become extremely hot when
in use. Always wear heat-resistant gloves
when adding more fi rewood and do not
move the plate.

• Never leave the fi re barrel burn unat-
tended. Keep out of reach of children and
animals.
• Keep a safe distance to fl ammable and
heat-sensitive objects and materials. We
recommend that you place the fi re barrel
in a clear area within a radius of 2 meters.
• Place the fi re barrel on an even, heat-re-
sistant surface and ensure its steady stand,
before placing the Pyron Plate on top.
• Do not cover the Pyron Plate while it is in
use. Fire hazard!
• Never use liquid fi re starters or fl uids such
as kerosene, turpentine or denatured al-
cohol to start or restart the fi re. Such sub-
stances can explode and are toxic and
harmful to the environment. We recom-
mend commercially available solid grill or
fi re starters. Please follow the instructions
on the packaging.
• Do not move the Pyron or Pyron Plate when
a fi re is burning inside.
• Wear appropriate clothes when using the
Pyron and Pyron Plate. Long, loose sleeves
catch fi re easily!
• Be careful when adding fuel. Carefully add
only one piece at a time through the open-
ing of the cooking support. Protect your
hands with heat-resistant gloves.
• Have a bucket of sand or a powder fi re
extinguisher nearby in case of emergency.
• For the fi re to stop burning, let the fuel
burn down entirely and let the fi re barrel
as well as the Pyron Plate cool down com-
pletely after use.
• Care for the Pyron Plate as specifi ed in the
instructions for care.
