• The unit is not started until the Test start button is
pressed in, fig. 3.
Check the direction of rotation by keeping one hand
in front of the vacuum limiting valve. It should not blow
from the valve. If it is not blowing from the valve, allow
the starting procedure to continue. Otherwise stop the
unit by pressing the button
Isolate the power by using the switch-disconnector.
Open the start and control unit and change two of the
incoming phase conductors.
Check the rotation again.
Be careful when checking the directon of
rotation as the silencer are removed. Do not
put the hand in to the pump housing.
Use ear protection.
• Check that the unit does not start directly when the
button
is pressed in. If it starts, one of the valves at
a workstation is open so that its micro switch is acti-
vated, or perhaps the pilot signal cable is damaged
so that both its wires are touching each other. If this is
so, stop the unit with the button
fault. If necessary, loosen the pilot signal cable from
the control unit, see fig. 18 connections, and trouble
shoot using an ohmmeter along all the branch cables
until the faulty made point is found.
• When working correctly the unit will go to "Standby"
mode. The unit should not start until you open a valve
at a workplace, so that the micro switch activates, or
you press the Test start button/Filter cleaning as in
figure 6. When the valve closes the unit should switch
to idling (and filter cleaning) after the set time on the
display (DIR), usually 12 seconds. The unit should
stop after the set time on the display (SSR), normally
10 minutes.
• When the unit is in full operation (not idling), press the
Filter cleaning button, figure 6, and check that the filter
cleaning function is activated. The filter cleaning func-
tion (pneumatic cylinder with valve disc) is concealed
under the enclosure, see fig. 6 position 2, a distinctive
change in sound identifies the function.
• With all valves at the workstations closed, check that
the motor slows (can be clearly heard) and that swit-
ching to idling with filter cleaning takes place after
approximately 12 seconds. If this is not the case,
break the pilot signal cable manually by opening the
fuse holder F4. Wait at least 12 seconds if switching
to idling happens now, trouble shoot the pilot signal
cable. If switching does not happen, check the set
time on the display (DIR function).

• Approximately 10 minutes after the unit has switched
to idling it should stop (got to Standby mode) due to
the SSR function switching off.
• Replace the cover over the control unit and the acous-
tic enclosure over the motor/fan once all the checks
have been completed.
Maintenance
Read the section "SAFETY" before carrying
out any maintenance work. Maintenance
work means that the equipment must be
opened and eventually dismounted. This
means a great risk why the maintenance
personnel must know about the risks that
may appear when acting incorrect.
Risk of burning injuries!
When working with maintenance on or next
to the motor, the fan or the air duct.
Always use an approved breathing mask
when replacing the dust sack and other
work exposed in dust.
Ear protection must be worn when the unit
is running and work is carried out in the
vicinity of the upper section of the dust col-
lector.
Collector bin
Empty the collector bin regularly and before it becomes
2/3 full. The accessory BLI (Bin Level Indicator) alarm
at this level (2/3). Before emptying a Filter Cleaning is
preferred by pressing the button "Filter Cleaning. Shut
off the vacuumunit and disassemble the collector bin,
fig. 12. Cut the power supply remove the hose, fig. 14.
Change plastic sack , fig. 13 and install the hose and
the collector bin.
NOTE! If the hose is not installed after changing
plastic sack, the sack will explode due to the diffe-
rence pressure and the atmospheric pressure com-
mig in under the sack!
NOTE! Check that the hose is not clogged or dama-
ged!
