Installation

5.1

Incoming inspection

Prior to shipping, this device was carefully inspected and packed. Damages during transport cannot be excluded. Following receipt of the goods, please
check the delivery for completeness and damage. Document any damage sustained during transportation. Contact the forwarding agent to register a
complaint accordingly.
5.2

Installation process

ATTENTION
Device damage from overheating
Device damage due to overheating of the connection.
Prevent thermal insulating of the device protective cover.
Install the device in the storage tank.
These prerequisites must be met for installation:
Sealed storage tank made from metal.
Sufficient clearance for installation work.
A horizontal installation position for the device.
A horizontal installation position of the temperature sensor at the 12 o'clock position.
An adequate installation depth for the heating elements and the temperature sensor.
ATTENTION - heating element damage can be caused by contact with the inside of the storage tank. Carry out the installation with due care.
Prevent contact of the heating element with the inside of the storage tank. When inserting the device, ensure there is a clearance of 0-75 mm
between the device and the storage tank flange opening.
Note!
4-10 kW for DN110
16-35 kW for DN180

Remove the factory-fitted flange from the storage tank.
Store the screws safely. You require these later to fit the
flange heater.
Dispose of the old gasket and use the supplied flat gasket for
subsequent sealing of the flange.
