3.1.5 Reference junction, cold solder (C.A 65)

Whether in receive or emission mode, the temperature of the reference junction must be
defined as internal or external to the instrument.
Use a miniature compensated plug (plus compensated cables), in the case of an internal
junction, and a miniature copper plug (plus copper cables), if the reference junction is external.
To define the internal or external junction, run the internal program sequence (para-
graph 3.1.1) until "Jr?" is displayed on the screen, then follow the operations described.
