It is vital to set the watch to time
before carrying out any other cor-
rection (year, month, date, day of
the week). Once this operation is
completed, corrections of the
y e a r, the month, the date, the day
of the week and the equation
(push-pieces I + II) must under
no circumstances be done when
the watch shows a time between
8pm and 1a m . If you are uncertain
of the time shown by the hands
(whether it is am or pm), move the
hour and minute hands forwards
(crown in position 2) up to 1am, after
the date change. Then correct the year,
the month, the date and the day of the
w e e k .

– push-piece II
The leap-year display completes
a full revolution every four years.
Push-piece I simultaneously moves
the day of the week, the date (1-31),
the month, the year and the equation.
H o w e v e r, final adjustment of the day
of the week may require using push-
piece I I.
By pressing push-piece I the appro-
priate number of times, using the gold
stylus, first choose the leap year or
one of the standard years. Then con-
tinue pressing push-piece I using the
stylus to select the appropriate month,
and then finally the date of the month.
After completing the final operation
(date of the month), use the stylus
to press push-piece I I which indi-
vidually corrects the day of the week.
The equation of time display auto-
matically adjusts to the setting of the
calendar and therefore requires no
individual adjustment.
