The measurement device is
equipped with a serial interface that
allows for direct communication
with a PC.
Measurement data can be
transferred from memory or directly
after each measurement.
Data transfer software is included
with delivery for this purpose. Your
transferred data is displayed
immediately in a test report.
You can make the connection to your PC with the enclosed PC cable.
Plug the side with the flat connector (designed so it can only be
connected with the correct polarity) into the measurement device and the
9-pin sub-D plug into the PC.
A USB adapter is also available.
When using the optional Power supply, the power is supplied via the
interface connector.
If the battery is installed when using the Power supply, the power will be
drawn from the battery first. When using the Power supply, remove the
battery.
Accessories equipment connected to the analog and digital interfaces
must be certified to the respective IEC standards (i.e. IEC 60950 for data
processing equipment).
Furthermore all configurations shall comply with the system standard
IEC 61010-1, everybody who connects additional equipment to the signal
input part or signal output part configures electrical equipment for
measurement system, and is therefore, responsible that the system
complies with the requirements of the system standard (IEC 61010-1).
Please use only accessories that are available for the unit. Improper use
of accessories will render the warrantee null and void. The manufacturer
assumes no liability for damages caused by failure to observe the safety
instructions.
