4.2 Operation of slotted nuts
(installation / removal)
• Secure the vehicle from rolling away.
• Fix an appropriate adapter to the jaws of the
basic appliance by using the fixing screws.
(see illustration 6 and 7)

• Adjust the basic appliance to the size of the
slotted nut by using the spindle.
• Fasten the safety chain (if needed by
the use of the extension chain) to fix the
jaws of the basic appliance as well. At
this the gripping mechanism is to be
operated by the hexagon screw size 6
(see illustration 1 and 2)
