Installation Software Installation The HiFD driver software must be installed from the installation CD-ROM before the drive can be used. Installing with Windows Make sure the HiFD drive is not connected, then turn on the PC. After the system boots up on your PC, insert the supplied installation CD-ROM in the PC’s CD-ROM drive. - Page 13 Choose the language of operation, then follow the on- screen instructions. When installation is complete, remove the installation CD- ROM. Reboot the PC. After the PC has rebooted, connect the HiFD drive and the PC using the USB cable. (For the connection method, see page 15.) All necessary devices are installed automatically, then the HiFD drive is ready to use.

Installation Software-Installation Bevor Sie das HiFD-Laufwerk benutzen können, müssen Sie die HiFD-Treibersoftware von der Installations-CD-ROM installieren. Installation unter Windows Vergewissern Sie sich, daß das HiFD-Laufwerk nicht angeschlossen ist, und schalten Sie den PC ein. Nachdem Sie Ihren PC hochgefahren haben, legen Sie die mitgelieferte Installations-CD-ROM ins CD-ROM- Laufwerk Ihres PC ein. - Page 45 Wählen Sie die Sprache, die Sie benutzen wollen, und folgen Sie anschließend den angezeigten Anweisungen.
