Installing the Control Terminal
Plug connector A to socket a on the control terminal.
Align the notch on connector A with the
corresponding groove in socket a.
Secure the connection by turning the coupling ring at
a
connector A clockwise.
Connect the blue pressure tubing B to the length of
A
tubing b at the control terminal. Be sure to slip the
length of tubing entirely over the nozzle. (The black
tube C is irrelevant.)
Position the control terminal on the steering column
and screw tight with the two screws.
The control terminal can be installed with the
display facing the patient or the operator (Figure 2-
4). Install the control terminal with the display
toward the operator and the speed indication
toward the patient (see section 4.1 Speed Readout
for the Patient).
