Mechanical attachment
Nur Original-Probst-Zubehör verwenden, im Zweifelsfall Rücksprache mit dem Hersteller halten.
The load capacity of the carrier/lifting device must not be exceeded by the load of the device,
the optional attachments (rotary motor, insert pocket, crane jib, etc.) and the additional load of
the gripped goods!
Grippers must always be suspended on a gimbal so that they can swing freely in any position.
Under no circumstances should the gripping devices be rigidly connected to the hoist/carrier!
This can lead to breakage of the suspension in a short time. This can result in death, extremely
serious injuries and damage to property!
When using the device on optional attachments (such as insertion pockets, crane jib etc.), it cannot be
ruled out that the device may collide with adjacent components due to the low design of the overall
device (to avoid loss of lifting height) if the device is suspended in an oscillating manner and
positioned unfavorably when the carrier device is moving.
This should be avoided as far as possible by positioning the appliance appropriately and adapting the
driving style.
Any resulting damage will not be covered by the warranty.
4.1.1
Attaching Variants
If the device is used with a forklift truck, the plate with lifting eye has to be removed from the flange
plate.
According to the operating condition, a turning device can be attached on the flange plate. On the other
hand it can either be mounted on the fork sleeves or on a crane boom.
4.1.2
Standard flange plate
The device is attached to the lifting equipment/carrier with a standard flange plate or a custom-made
flange plate connection.
Attaching the device to the lifting equipment/carrier take care that all local safety regulations are
observed.
When attaching the device to a forklift truck, the plate with the transport ring must be unscrewed from
the flange plate. Depending on the case of use, a rotary head/rotary motor can be attached to the
flange plate. This is attached either to a fork sleeve or to a crane boom.
4.1.3
Lifting eye / Suspension bolt
The device is equipped with a lifting eye / suspension bolt and can be mounted on various carrier /
lifting devices.
Take care that the lifting eye / suspension bolt is safely joined with the lifting tackle (e.g. crane
hook, belt) and cannot slide down.
