Operation
5.2
Operating for devices with automatic release
•
The device is attached to the carrier/lifting device (e.g. excavator).
•
Before the gripping good (load) to be transported is lifted, the gripping range must be adjusted on
the device.
•
The device is lifted with the carrier/lifting device, positioned above the gripping good and lowered.
•
As soon as the device is completely lowered, the automatic release unlocks and closes when the
device is lifted again.
•
The gripping good (load) can now be transported to its destination and set down.
•
As soon as the load is set down, the automatic release mechanism locks and the device can be
lifted (without gripping good).
•
The device therefore is a ONE-MAN-MACHINE.
Shut-down the device without carrier/lifting device only on even ground. The gripping arms
must be opened enough, to ensure a secure standing of the device. Otherwise there is a danger
of overturning!

Pictures of the positions of the automatic release:
• Device is lifted through the
lifting equipment/carrier
• Gripping arms are opened
• With faulty switching, the
change-over switch must
be pushed back manually
(e.g. with a screwdriver)
