Precautions
Avoid driving the speaker system continuously
wattage exceeding the power handling capacity of this
speaker system.
Avoid supplying the following signals for a long period
of time, otherwise the speaker may be damaged.
Continuous sine wave power of more than 5 watts
FM interstation noise
High-frequency signals in the fast-forward and rewind
modes of a tape recorder.
Lower the volume each time you turn your amplifier on
or off to avoid "bursts".
Do not attempt to open the enclosure or remove
speaker units. There are no user-servicable parts
nside.
To maintain the new condition of your speaker system,
periodically wipe the cabinet with a soft cloth. Do not use
anytype of scouring powder, abrasive pad or solvent.
The front grilles cannot be removed.
In case color irregularity is observed on nearby TV
screen (SS-CNIOO only)
With an anti-magnetism design of SS-CNIOO, the
speaker can be installed near a TV set. However, color
irregularity may still be observed on the TV screen
depending on the type of your TV set.
If color irregularity is observed ...
Turn off the TV set once, then turn it on after 15 to 30
minutes.
If color irregularity is observed again ...
Place the speaker further away from the TV set. Be sure
not to place the magnetic materials near the speaker
system, it may cause color irregularity.
Connection
Before connecting, turn off the amplifier to avoid
damaging the speaker system.
Connect each speaker to the correspondingamplifier
speaker terminals.
Make terminal connections as illustrated.
The red input terminal ( @ ) of the speaker system
should be connectedto the @ terminalof the amplifier,
and the black terminal (e ) to the eterminal.
If the + —connectionis incorrect,the bass may seem
to be missing and the position of the instruments
becomes obscure.

Eviter de faire fonctionner

suivants afin d'éviter d'endommager l'appareil.

Signaux de haute fréquence en mode d'avance rapide
et de rembobinage d'un magnétophone.
Baisser Ie volume chaque fois que l'on met l'amplifica-
teur sous ou hors tension afin d'éviter les "explosions
sonores".
Ne pas essayer d'ouvrir Ie coffret ou de retirer Ies
éléments de I'enceinte.

Pour maintenir I'appareil en état neuf, nettoyer réguliére-
ment son coffret avec
poudre récurer, ni tampon abrasif ou solvant.
Ces grilles ne doivent donc pas étre ötées.
S'il y a des défauts de couleur sur l'écran d'un téléviseur
situé proximité (SS-CNI 00 seullement)
La conception antimagnétique de SS-CN 100 permet de
l'installer pros d'un téléviseur. Cependant, IIpeut y avoir
des défauts de couleur å l'écran, suivant Ie type de
téléviseur.
S'il y a des défauts de couleur, éteindre le téléviseur une
fois, puis le rallumer au bout de 15 å 30 minutes.
Si lesdéfautsde couleurne disparaissentpas,éloigner
l'enceinte acoustique du téléviseur.
Prendre soin de ne pas laisser pres de l'enceinte de
matériaux magnétique susceptible de provoquer des
défauts de couleur.
Connexion
Avant de procéderau raccordement,mettre l'amplifica-
teur hors tension, pour éviter d'endommager les
enceintes.
Connecter chaque enceinte aux bornes haut-parleur
correspondantes de l'amplificateur.
