Problem
The appliance is not
charging.
No detergent is coming out
of the bottle.
The appliance moves too
heavily over the floor.
The dirty water tank is
foaming.
Possible cause
The dirty water tank is full.
The clean water tank is not
properly connected to the
appliance.
The charging cable is not
properly connected to the
appliance or to the adapter
inlet, or the adapter is not
inserted into the wall socket
properly.
A wrong adapter is used.
The USB-A to USB-C charging
cable is broken.
A new OneUp Floor Cleaner
bottle is installed on the clean
water tank lid.
The OneUp Floor Cleaner bottle
is empty.
The OneUp Floor Cleaner bottle
is not properly installed on the
clean water tank lid.
The valve that releases floor
cleaner is clogged.
The floor creates friction with
the pad.
An incorrect detergent is used.
There is soap residue on the
floor.
Solution
Empty the dirty water tank.
Connect the clean water tank to the
appliance properly. Push the clean water
tank down until it is firmly locked in place.
Make sure that the power plug is
connected properly to both the appliance
and the adapter inlet, and that the adapter
is inserted correctly into the wall socket.
Only use a safety extra low voltage
approved adapter with an output rating of
5.0 V DC 1.0A 5.0W and USB-A connector
type.
Replace the broken cable with a new cable.
Press the dosing button multiple times until
the dosing button is filled with detergent
(see 'Installing the Philips OneUp Floor
Cleaner').
Install a new bottle (see 'Installing the
Philips OneUp Floor Cleaner').
Install the bottle properly (see 'Installing
the Philips OneUp Floor Cleaner').
Keep the clean water tank lid in warm
water for 10 minutes, rinse it and try again.
-
You can use wetness setting 2 to make
the floor wetter for easier movement.
-
Only move the pad forwards and
backwards. Do not move it sideways.
-
Use the low friction pad XV1883.
We recommend using XV1892 Philips
OneUp Floor Cleaner for optimal results. If
you want to use a different liquid floor
cleaner, make sure that you use a non-
foaming liquid floor cleaner that can be
diluted in water. Using foaming floor
cleaners or those that can't be diluted in
water can reduce performance and may
cause the appliance to malfunction.
Sweep off the soap residue on the floor
before you use the appliance.
