Problem
The floor dries with stripes.
It is difficult to clean stains.
Water drips out of the
appliance.
Possible cause
The metal sieve under the clean
water tank connector is
blocked.
The pad is dirty.
You are cleaning with wetness
setting 1.
Too much floor cleaner is used.
There are still detergent
residues on the floor.
The back of the pad has no
floor contact.
You are cleaning with wetness
setting 1.
The pad is too dry.
The pad is dirty.
The stain has dried up for too
long.
The clean water tank is empty.
Your floor type requires a
different cleaning pad.
The appliance is dripping when
carrying it over the floor and
holding the nozzle vertically.
Solution
Remove any foreign objects from the metal
sieve with a soft brush or sponge.
Wash the pad in the washing machine at
up to 40°C (see 'Cleaning') and follow the
cleaning instructions on the pad. If the
problem persists, replace the pad.
Wetness setting 1 makes the floor drier.
Choose wetness setting 2 in this case.
Empty the clean water tank, rinse and refill
it with clean water.
Press the dosing button only once to add
the correct amount of floor cleaner.
Clean the floor without detergent several
times.
During cleaning, glide the mop at a steady
pace without too much force to allow for
equal floor contact of the pad.
Choose wetness setting 2 for stain removal.
Make sure to wet the pad under the tap
before cleaning.
Wash the pad in the washing machine at
up to 40°C (see 'Cleaning') and follow the
cleaning instructions on the pad. If the
problem persists, replace the pad.
Apply water to the stain and wait a
moment. You can move the appliance over
the stain to apply water and then return to
the stain at the end of your cleaning
session.
Refill the clean water tank.
Try another type of pad (low friction:
XV1883) which might perform better on
your floor type.
While cleaning, do not lift the nozzle from
the floor and do not hold it vertically, as
this may leave water traces.
