1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

The following GREEN SQUARE symbols indicate
proper use. The following RED CIRCLE symbols
indicate misuse and are provided as a visual
reminder for use. They are not an exhaustive list of
use instructions or warnings. Care, diligence and
common sense must be provided by the user when
using the ladder to avoid accident or injury.
Failure to follow any provided instructions will void
your warranty and could be considered misuse.
Explanation of the symbols
Read the operating instructions carefully
before using this ladder. Familiarise yourself
with its functions and basic operation.
Service the ladder as per the instructions to
ensure that it always functions properly. The
operating instructions and the accompan-
ying documentation must be kept in the
vicinity of the ladder.
Denotes risk of personal injury, loss of life or
damage to the ladder in case of non-obser-
vance of the instructions in this manual.
Minimum length of 91 cm.
Maximum length of 3.8 meter.
Maximum load of 150kg/330lbs.
The inclination angle of the ladder
must amount to approximately
65-75° (ratio 1 : 4).
Maintain a visual control of the ladder
before and after use of the ladder.
Check the plastic feet of the ladder
before and after use of the ladder.

Use the ladder on flat and
level ground.
Do not overreach; always
keep your belt buckle
(navel) inside the stiles and
both feet on the same
tread/rung throughout the
task.
Ensure the ground and
ladder are free from any
contaminants. Do not use
the ladder during
unfavour able weather
conditions.
Use the ladder on firm and solid
ground.
Extend the ladder 1m above landing
point.
Do not climb the last metre of the
ladder. Never climb on the top four
treads of the ladder.
Do not step sideways off the ladder.
Use the ladder the correct way up.
Never erect or use the ladder back to
front or upside down. The base should
always sit firmly on the ground.
No more than one person
should use the ladder at
the same time.
If necessary, take additional safety
precautions by securing the top and
bottom sections of the ladder.
Do not use the ladder as a bridge or
bridge section. Do not use the ladder
horizontally.
