6 Frequently asked
questions (FAQ)
Never try to repair the device yourself
as you may void your warranty.
When you encounter any problems,
read the FAQ before you take the
device for repair. You may also visit
www.nyne.com/support for help.
Contact your dealer if any of the
following occurs:
The power cord frays or fails.
Liquid sprays or any object drops
into the device.
The device is exposed to rain or
other moisture.
The device is dropped or damaged
in any way.
The performance of the device
changes substantially.
Why is there no power?
Check whether you have
connected the power cable to both
the device and wall socket securely.
Check whether the mains power is
interrupted.
Check whether you have slided
the ON/OFF switch on the back of
the device to the correct position.
Press POWER to turn on the device.
If you use batteries as the power
source, check whether the
batteries are used up or installed
incorrectly. Replace the old
batteries, or load the batteries
with correct polarity, as indicated
at the inner side of the battery
compartment.
Why is there no sound or only distorted sound?
Press VOL +/- to adjust volume.
Check whether the Bluetooth
connected device supports

Bluetooth profile A2DP. Check
the user manual of the device for
details.
Check whether wireless
connection has been set up
between the paired device and
NB-230.
If you are listening from an auxiliary
device, check the following points:
Make sure that you have started
music play on your auxiliary device.
Try to adjust volume on your
auxiliary device.
Check whether the 3.5mm audio
cable has been connected
securely to both NB-230 and the
auxiliary device.
Why is it that I cannot find "NYNE NB-230" on the device
already paired with NB-230?
Check whether you have turned
on NB-230.
Make sure that you have enabled
the Bluetooth function on the
device paired with NB-230.
You may have failed to pair the
device with NB-230. Repeat the
pairing procedures.
Check whether NB-230 is
connected wirelessly with another
paired device. NB-230 only
supports one Bluetooth connection
at a time.
Why is it that I cannot answer/reject a call, or hang up on
NB-230?
Check whether the paired mobile
phone supports Bluetooth profile
HSP/HFP. See the user manual of
the mobile phone for details.
Check whether wireless
connection has been set up
between the paired mobile phone
and NB-230.
Why is it that music play does not resume after hang-up?
Resume music play on the
Bluetooth connected device.
