Measuring cable B+ red:
Cross cable section: 0.75 mm²
Connect the device with the 24 volt starter battery according to the connection
diagram (Fig. 6). Pay attention to the cable cross-sections and ensure correct
polarity.
Connect the measuring cable D+ (brown 0.75 mm²) with the D+ input at the
device and D+ of the generator. Protect this cable with a 2 A fuse near the
generator!
Connect the positive cable for the 24 volt battery (red 4 mm²) with the 24 volt
positive connection of the device and the positive pole of the 24 volt battery.
Protect this cable with a 25 A fuse near the positive pole of the battery!
Connect the negative cable for the 24 volt battery (blue 4 mm²) with the 24 volt
negative connection of the device and the negative pole of the 24 volt battery.
Install the snap ferrite (Fig. 7) near the device to achieve optimum interference
suppression. To this end, place the positive and negative cables of the 24 volt
connections into the open ferrite, close the snap ferrite and apply pressure until
the lock engages. Secure the snap ferrite using cable bands in front and behind
the ferrite.
Connect the device with the 12 volt supply battery according to the connection
diagram. Pay attention to the cable cross-sections and ensure correct polarity.
