  • Page 6 Zum Vorbild Ein Meilenstein in der Entwicklung der preußischen Personenzuglokomotiven gelang 1906: Die P 8, wie die spätere Baureihe 38 in Ost wie West einfach nur genannt wurde, nahm Fahrt auf. Robert Garbe, der Lokomotiv-Dezernent der KPEV-Eisenbahndirektion Berlin, war für die Entwicklung dieser gelungenen Maschine verantwortlich. Die noch junge Heißdampftechnik führte zu einer für die damalige Zeit herausragenden Leistungsfähigkeit und Wirtschaftlichkeit.

Sollten Sie zu viel Dampföl (mehr als 2ml) eingefüllt haben, können Sie das überschüssige Öl ganz einfach absaugen (siehe Abb.).

    ▪ Decoder Settings The Sounddecoder has been optimally adjusted to this locomotive. You can still adapt numerous decoder properties to your wishes however. Certain parameters (referred to as CVs – Configuration Variable – or register) can be amended. Please check before each programming if this is really necessary. Incorrect settings can result in the decoder not reacting correctly. The decoder is preprogrammed with 28/128 speed steps at the factory for a high level of comfort.
